Haben ja fast alle Board inzwischen.
Aber trotzdem feines Feature. -
Auf der originalen Intel Platine wird Ivy E nicht laufen....

Tja wenn schon Board und CPU aus dem selben Hause nicht funktionieren, wo soll das noch enden?

Soviel ich gelesen habe,
gibt Intel die Consumer Mainboard Sparte auf, also auch keine Aktualisierungen auf neue CPU's mehr.
Technisch gesehen wäre das wohl kein Problem, andere machen das ja auch mit dem gleichen Chipsatz.Gruß

Das meine ich ja. Intel kann es sich leisten einfach den Support einzustellen. Ich bin echt froh den Wahnsinn nicht mehr mitzumachen. Ich bin mal gespannt wie teuer das Rampage 4 Black werden soll.... aber solange es Leute gibt die es bezahlen....

Oh, davon wird es genug geben, nehme ich an.
Ich muss mir das schwer überlegen, ob ich mir das leisten kann, andere bezahlen so was vom "Taschengeld". Und einiges mehr dazu.
Eine alternative wäre noch das EVGA Black, ist wahrscheinlich mit 349€ auch nicht preiswerter. Vom ASRock X79 Extreme11 mal ganz zu schweigen.

Das Asrock Extreme 11 ist nichts zum takten.

Das Black ist sicher teurer als das Evga. Selbst das normale Rampage Extreme kostet mehr.

Das ändert aber leider nichts daran, das Ivy Bridge E nur was unter extremer Kühlung bringt.

Ne, ich kann diesen Mainboards in Soundkartengröße einfach nichts abgewinnen.

Ich bin Jetzt auch auf den Z170 Zud aufgesprungen.
Mit einem MSI Gaming Titanium Mainboard.
Für mich sind die Einstellungen sehr vielseitig geworden, aber andererseits, kommen mir Gedanken, ein Sockel 775 Brett der *DFI-Klasse* zu betreiben.
Ich habe für mich auch gleich Ungereimtheiten festgestellt, bezüglich Handling und Temperaturen und natürlich auch MSI spezifische Abwersie gegen gewisse Grafikkarten:Raumtemperatur ca 22°.

Aber die CPU hat im Leerlauf weniger Temperatur, als die Umgebung.
Sie ist nicht geköpft oder ich hab wieder ein Sonderding erwischt.
Biosse habe ich probiert, von 1.0,1.1, 1.1B3, 1.2, 1.21.
Wenn ich zum Beispiel die Onboard Soundkarte abstelle, kann ich das Brett im Bios per F10 nicht mehr rebooten.
Das war in Taiwan nicht bekannt.
Und meine Sapphire 290 läuft zwar, aber OC bekomme ich nen schwarzen Bildschirm.
Selbst das Board ist auf dem PCI-E sehr schwach. Mit Asrock oder Asus kein Thema. -
Ne , ist typisch Skylake mit der Temperatur.
Im Idle liegen die alle daneben, bei Last soll es aber stimmen mit dem Temps.
Scheinen wie jedes mal aufs neue die "frühen" MSI UEFI Probleme zu sein. Würde mich wundern, falls beim Ram OC jetzt schon gut was abgeht.

Mein Ivy-E hat im Idle auch kuriose Temps, die unter der Raum Temp liegen, da gebe ich garnix drauf. Wie Heinrich schon schrieb, unter last muss es passen.

Ich habe Kingston Fury 2400er CL15 1.2V am laufen, aber auch die 3000 mit CL16, bei moderaten 1.35V.
Mehr wird noch kommen, aber die nächsten kommenden 3 Wochen gehören einem anderen Hobby...
Was mich madig macht, das mit der Graka. Dachte das wird endlich besser, weil die PCI-E Anbindung ja eigentlich besser sein sollte. -
Tja wäre es jetzt eine Nvidia Karte, würde ich sagen, Flash mal nen anderes BIOS drauf, aber bei den neuen AMD Karten weiß ich auch keinen Rat.

Im hwl Forum wurde das schon mehrfach angesprochen, das liegt an der Kalibrierung bei Skylake.
Diese scheint nur unter Last relativ genau zu arbeiten, im idle Modus wird wohl nur grob geschätzt.Damit du wieder ruhig schlafen kannst, habe ich mal kurz einen Screenshot von meiner Skylake CPU gemacht.

Wie du sehen kannst, tanzt der erste Kern im Idle Modus ganz schön aus der Reihe, aber bei der max. Temperatur verkleinert sich der Unterschied zu den anderen Kernen wieder ziemlich, b.z.w. gleicht sich an. Der Unterschied ist aber nicht immer so groß. Ich habe zufälliger weise heraus gefunden das dies mit an der VCC PLL Voltage liegt, zumindest auf dem Z170 OCF.
Halte ich diese unter 1.150V, ist der Unterschied wesentlich geringer, ab 1.150V steigt dieser Unterschied ziemlich an, wird in dem Sinne aber nicht mehr größer mit mehr Spannung dabei.
Das Mainboard an sich kann man als Fehlerquelle ausschließen, auf dem Asus Z170 Deluxe war dies ebenfalls so mit dem Temperatur unter idle/last.Gruß
